The counterweight is that many households here earn their income in Edmonton, so when the city's employment picture tightens, it reaches St. Albert driveways too.

What actually happens
Less than people fear. Much of a foreclosure is documents rather than hearings, and an undefended claim moves through its stages without anyone standing up in a courtroom. That is also the risk — the process advances whether or not you engage, so engaging is how you keep a say in it.
